* Collection Programs are certified by the Division. As a certified entity you are eligible for processing payments and administrative payments. Collection programs are paid based on a commingled rate meaning that CRV containers and non-CRV containers are both recycled. Being a certified collection program is a good option for bars and restaurants collecting large volumes of material consisting of CRV and non-CRV containers.
* Recycling as a consumer allows payment of refund value for smaller programs. If you recycle more than two tons of glass in any transaction you must be certified as a collection program. Recycling as a consumer allows for smaller bars and restaurants to recycle without having to be certified. It also allows for bars and restaurants that generate only CRV containers such as beer, soda, and water to be paid an amount to reflect all CRV containers
