We’re asking everyone, including friends, neighbors and family members. Because if you’re using plastic, glass or alumninum beverage containers, you can make a difference.
So pledge to recycle the can from that afternoon soda or that water bottle after your workout. Recycling makes a difference at the landfill, on our natural resources and in the air we breathe.
Plus you can collect the California Refund Value (CRV) - the amount paid by consumers at the checkout stand and paid back to consumers when they recycle eligible aluminum, plastic, glass and bi-metal beverage containers at certified recycling centers. The minimum refund value established for each type of eligible beverage container is 5 cents for each container under 24 ounces and 10 cents for each container 24 ounces or greater.
